-edit-- before you ask, yes there are folders in Volume_2 ;) I can actually browse them from the OS file explorer
ls /share/1100/Volume_2
ls -l /direct-usb
given the result I also ran the command:
- Code: Select all
root@lacie5big:/ # ls -l /share/1100/Volume_2
total 0

You mean you can browse the content from your mac when the usb disk is connected to the NAS, right ?
the command Jock gave (/usr/bin/ls -l /direct-usb/Volume_2) is wrong as this volume is not mounted on that folder menain the sym link direct-usb is not pointing to /share/1100
You can check where "direct-usb" is pointing to by using this
- Code: Select all
ls -l /direct-usb
root@lacie5big:/ # ls /share/1100/Volume_2
root@lacie5big:/ # ls -l /direct-usb
lrwxrwxrwx 1 root root 11 2016-01-21 18:07 /direct-usb -> /share/1100
-edit-- before you ask, yes there are folders in Volume_2 ;) I can actually browse them from the OS file explorer
