Unfortunately not. The MBR only contains the primary and extended partititons. sda1 and 2 in this case. The logical partitions are declared in the extended partition table, and have to be created manually. (Maybe I could have added that extended partition table, but the MBR+label file would have been 1 cylinder + 1 sector in size, and as soon as a different cylinder size would pop-up, it wouldn't work anyway.)

Somehow logical partition number 5 is out of range. What does 'fdisk -l' say?
