Please, could check that the button "add the folder" stay disabled if you select only a disk and become available once you click on a share or a subfolder.

Note : Diskx is not a share, it's your diskx.

You must select a 'folder' to the disk root (<=> share =Disco_x) or a subfolder of the shares.

Only with the two last cases, the button is available.

Seems now that the firmware can run rightly with several disks. :thumbup

So need to do a script to update the disk database if you unplug a disk or swap them.

well, I have a question now......I Love the way to turn off the nas (talk about the command in network interface "switch off the nas") realli i love it.
but the question is:

how to switch on, then?....i have to switch the button in the back of the nas right? there is no way to turn on the nas by network after switched off by net interface, right?

well if it is switched off the network interface can not work as the nas is switched off ;)
There is a feature calle WOL (=Wake On Lan) the nas can be set in that mode and wake up by sending a magic packet from a PC. However in "WOL mode" it isn't really switched off only HDD's are switched off and no software is running only a tiny program to detect the magic packt. It is not a real WOL mode, this is because the network interface of Lacie (Marvell) don't have real WOL support. The energy consumption is lower in this mode but not a lot then normal operation. In normal operation HDD also switch off if there is no program running using them.
