But

.. i can't tell him about money for the hours we work because he don't Know that you have rise the Nas with success he know yet the Lacie is unsuable.

Does that matter? You spend that hours, regardless if the box is now usable or not. And that was because he sold you a box which was by default not usable, and didn't react quickly on your complaints.

But I'm not a lawyer (please!) and I know nothing of Italian law. (What I read about Italian law is mostly about Berlusconi, and that's not law, but a joke.)

Yes we are, the new kernel seems to be ok we almost finish adapting the firmware for mutiple disks :rock

OK, just waiting :) .....the new 106 kernel seems to bee good you say :)....mmm....and now? is better that i'm waiting for you :snicker after work i take the Nas home, so this evening maybe we do something? or when you have more time, no problem!

I just arrived home, then next step will be that we want to see an output of dmesg to see if the kernel 106 runs without problems
So boot it and mak contact with putty and give as command

If that is ok we are going to prepare a fvdw-sl-14-1 image that should be able to handle mutiple disk and sent this to you. Also we will sent you a new default database based on 5 disk. The current one is only for use with one disk.
I propose to install 14-1 on one a disk that will remain in the nas.
