Or do i have to rebuild whole structure?

There was one problem with partition 4 though.

try sda5 only and to be sure write once more the kernel to sda6

It might be a good idea to first reboot with the interface button when the nas is up and running again, before applying the loop device try again.

yes but before doing a restart via the web interface first look at the the output of the mount command to see if sda5 is properly mounted and the rest also looks normal

I've done :
- reformat partition 5
- install UIMAGE-26394-NWSP2CL-51 to partition 6
- and used :

mkdir /mnt-sdb5
mount /dev/sdb5 /mnt-sdb5
cd /mnt-sdb5
cp  /path-to/sda5-lacie-nwsp.tar.gz /mnt-sdb5
cd /mnt-sdb5
tar –xzvf sda5-lacie-nwsp.tar.gz
chmod 777 /mnt-sdb5/etc/nas_conf_db.xml
umount /mnt-sdb5

This should do the trick right.
Did i miss something? (Just to be sure).

looks ok, sure that all partitions 1 to 7 are there (we need partition 7 for loading the firmware). Try if you can mount sdb7 and look if content is there

Yes all partitions are there.
Only cat /proc/partitions says that partition 4 is only 1 block.
But fdisk -p and gparted are showing partition 4 as it should, so i guess it is okay?

No i already pulled it out of the pc.
But it is still not working, so i will try that.
