think this is not an application to run on a NAS It streams video/audio to a screen an needs things like 3D GPU that has supported OpenGL 3D hardware acceleration, set bitdepth to 24bpp or 32bpp. That doesn't sound as suitable for an ARM cpu
it (logitech mediaserver) can also stream video... It has also a uPnP (DLNA) media server.
Look in the dvelopment post viewtopic.php?f=4&t=554 In one of the post you can see the menu showing it has 321 videos. I can watch them on my TV, the server is visible in the network as logitech mediaserver
If we had the possibility to get Java on the box we could use PS3/Universal media server to stream to the xbox/ps3. However, I think the cpu on the Lacie is not powerful enough to demux and reencode streams like mkv.
