As we cannot get a stable run on this nas, there is no possibility to it without dismanteling. Dismanteling is relative easy. At led side pull with your nail in the gap between cover and base and lift the cover. Remove the 4 screws that hold the hdd. Slide the hdd backwards

Using linux in your virtual machine. If it is able to see usb it should show your disk
Do not use partition assistant

ok...i found a VMimage of Kali Linux 2021 3... downloaded and i mounted on VMWare

i plugged the HD with Sata to usb cable and 12v supply
now in the VMachine OS is detected new usb device and asks me if i want to connect it to host or to virtual machine.....i choosed second one so connected to Linux Virtual Machine.
A second message is shown me where it says:This device is unable to connect to its ideal host controller. An attempt will be made to connect this device to the best available host controller. This Might result in undefined behavior for this device.
Is all ok at this point? What is next step?

i think it tries to connect to windows and not to VMware....
if it is not just right way to solve problem.....i just will do in another way....
i tried also to install ubuntu on VmWare but system can't still recognize HD and partitions.....
is there any program or driver on win 10 to show partitions of HD connected trough USB?
