One little problem, (not really a problem, just a bug), as soon as i change the name of the MiniDLNA server, the folders disappear again..
I tried changing it via the webUI, and via the config file, but neither worked for me.

very strange hamcloak. :scratch

I use also a no standard name but without any spaces in it, don't know if that makes a differences or not (look at the output I posted of a client, in that I use mindlna-1022 (instead of miniDLNA) and all folders are listed fine :dontknow

Hi,
I got this problem too. Every day more videos disappearring.
I found out my NAS runs out of memory creating the minidlna db.
The db file got to about 64Mb and then it stops. I think I have too much music :-)
I moved my mp3 folder from the minidlna list and forced rescan.
Now everthing is back. I think there is a maximum no. of files minidlna can handle.

Hmm, must be my problem too, since my movies folder is around 450GB and my music around 50GB.
It's not an option for me to move something out of my shared folders, so I think not changing the server name is the only solution for me here, not that much of a problem though.
