Ok I understood the issue. You lost the firmware files on sda2.
It is a known issue, fixed with version 18.2:
18.2.3 bug fixes
- web-interface: firmware may be corrupted with inappropriate actions from the web-interface (do a page rollback or reload the firmware update menu whereas the upgrade script is still running)

So we go back to version 17.0
Code: Select all
mv /sda7/lacie-boot/sda2boot  /sda7/lacie-boot/sda1boot
Check you have only one file (sda1boot) in lacie-boot folder
Code: Select all
ls /sda7/lacie-boot

If yes, restart the nas. Check if all is ok and then try again to update to version 18.2 (so follow all instruction and nothing else up to click on the button "step3" to reboot the nas.

lacie-boot
root@fvdw-sta-kirkwood:/ # mv /sda7/lacie-boot/sda2boot /sda7/lacie-boot/sda1boot
root@fvdw-sta-kirkwood:/ # ls /sda7/lacie-boot
sda1boot
root@fvdw-sta-kirkwood:/ #

is ok?

Be careful it is not the right command ! (you tried to rename the folder 'lacie-boot')
So
Code: Select all
mv /sda7/lacie-boot/sda2boot  /sda7/lacie-boot/sda1boot
