Is it possible to install kodi?

In principle yes, but kodi has many dependencies that need to be compiled and I don't know if cpu power and ram of the cloudbox are sufficient. I will have a closer look. We plan to release a version for x86, that would solve cpu and ram limits of the lacie devices

It is clearly established that Kodi itself is a legal media player. Installing and using Kodi to watch copyrighted content through the authorized sources is legal.
