No access to Cloudbox, slowly blue blinking

Hi, I found your forum through Google. There's a topic which has big similarities with my problem, an inaccessible Cloudbox with a blue light slowly blinking. Also after reboot etc. I tried loading a standalone kernel using the console, but for some reason it doens't upload, at least I never see the message: Starting kernel. I've tried from 2 laptops, turned the firewall off, used a wired connection (I even tried a direct wired connection, but same problem). NAS was running on FW 2.6.11. Any ideas what I'm doing wrong or what else I could try?
