Jocko you are awesome! It worked!! I upgraded first with the roll up upgrade and then upgraded to version 18 and the remote share mounted successfully in the webgui!

What happened before, was probably

For example with version 17.0, mount will fail if samba version on your raspberry allows only smb2 or smb3. Then the command-line used by the firmware fails because it uses the option 'sec=ntlm'. This option can not be used with version smb2 or smb3.
That works with yours because you do not set this option

Yeah that's definitely the problem. I'm so happy this got resolved so quickly.
Now I can take backup of my raspberry pi to my cloudbox.
