ownCloud version

ownCloud version

Postby davilovic » Wed Dec 27, 2017 11:17 pm

Hi, I have installed the owncloud server on the NAS and it works correctly although sometimes the synchronization fails.

The client displays the message that version 6.0.3.1 is obsolete and no longer supported. Is it possible to update it?

Thanks!
Regards!

Dear Jocko,

I am very happy to hear this from you. Would it be possible to have a recent version of Nextcloud also? (It has been recently released Nextcloud v13). Thanks in advance for your great contribution to the project.

OK, I get it. So maybe in the future. Anyway, an updated owncloud sounds perfect also.

Thanks again.

Some owncloud news

I tried to use the latest version (10.0.7) on a 5big2 (so with 512MB) and a web server being able to use more resource than the standard configuration.

In this configuration, owncloud web-interface is hanged after 3 or 5 requests and web server is frozen(all child threads are running).

It seems the version 10.0 requires too much resource for the lacie platform.

Now I need to check with version 9 if we have a better behaviour.

(Some months ago, I had tried version 8.2 which runs nicely. So at least, the update package will contain this version)
