Standby = Deep sleep?

Hi,

The standby mentioned in the forum is the same as original deep sleep? i.e does this firmware support wake on lan?

standby is in fact switched off, only uboot is wait for a trigger of the power button to start the booting process
WOL is not yet supported in our firmware. In one of the next release a simulate WOL will be integrated just as on the original firmware.
The network card (NIC) of this device doesn't support a real WOL but we prepared a script that holds the boot script in a very early stage of the booting process and continues as soon as a WOL package is received via the NIC.
The advantage of this method instead of standby is that you will be able to wake up the NAS from a PC by sending a WOL packet
