WebServer - LAN Settings

WebServer - LAN Settings

Postby Benaslan » Mon Oct 10, 2016 6:01 pm

Hey guys,

I got 2 problems, I think they belong together:

- I cannot open LAN Settings anymore
- FTP Server Name is the Admin password

I put in the credentials for the ddns service, since then it kinda broke :D

Best regards from Germany!

hi Benaslan,

What version do you use ?

A first idea, your DDNS credentials do they contain unusual characters like $ or &, <, > ...

Hey jocko,

its 16.1.

I found the solution: i typed the password containing a "!" in it into the "host name" field!
Only Chrome could open that LAN Page, also "System Information" also didn't work immediately!

P.S.: how's development doing? is there a new update about to come? :)

About Development, we need to plan a release date. (Need to talk with fvdw).

But before we have to end a job for the web-interface (new feature to manage disks/volumes).
So I think the release won't be before the end of the year (maybe a Christmas gift :whistle )

Do you note we release a new version for transmission client ? and next week, we should be able to release also a new version for btsync.

Sounds interesting! Thank you guys for keeping up the good work!

P.S.: ist there a system wide log file? I got this issue where the cloudbox kept disappearing after a while of ssh filetransfer. Only power reset could solve it! (New Topic?)
