Lacie Cloudbox 3TB not accessible

I have repeated the "ide reset" command and waited until the Marvell>> promt showed up again. It took approx. 30 sec. The message was the same as before:
Error - Failed initializing(SRST) drive on channel 0
Failed initializing storage device connected to SATA channel 0
PCIe SATA:ffffffff

Thank you very much for your all yuor efforts. Much appreciated, even though it doesn't look good...

Yes but you will need a pc running linux to be able to read the content of the disk. Assuming the error that we get is not coming from the disk but from the motherboard of the cloudbox

So the telnet client should be able to connect after 1 minute.
Did you look again to the buttons of the telnet client. It is the first button from the left on top site of the telnet window

Thank you for the screen shot. Saw that option all the time, but wasn't able to use it :-(

I am locked in (root@fvdw-sta-kirkwood:/ #). Tried out "gdisk -l /dev/sda" and reply is:

GPT fdisk (gdisk) version 0.8.5

Problem opening /dev/sda for reading! Error is 6.
root@fvdw-sta-kirkwood:/ #

Error 6 is not good, right?

So you have now a linux prompt with the hard disk installed I assume
Give this command
Code: Select all
gdisk -l /dev/sda

This option -l is the non captial letter L and not 1

You used the wrong command, please use dmesg and not dmseg

Also do
Code: Select all
fdisk -l
