Then in a Terminal window do
0/ load the web-interface

1/

2/ try to enable bonding feature (do nothing else in the web

3/ top debug mode, and read log file

ok, here you go @Jocko. This time and instead to hang there I got the message "Fail : Can't set the asked bonding mode!", but please note that I had to restart the NAS in order to get to the LAN screen as it was stuck (happens a lot since the update...)
