Hi edgarm,

First try to use fvdw-sl console to check if you can get a tenet access with a standalone kernel.

Give also more detail about what you did at this step :
I have a 5Big N2, with 4 HD of 2 TB, but unfortunately had a crash
Currently, these disks are still in their slot ? If not, do you identify them (what disk in what slot)

Note: I will not be available on this weekend

Hi Jocko

Many thanks for your help, let me comment you that I have tried to access through FTP with your procedure, unfortunately show me a problem with the connection FTP, so, I have tested the old disks one by one and one works for a some minutes and I could access to the web interface, then I put new 4 disks and create automatic raid, and now is working. :thumbup

Thanks a lot for your help and I assume that the configuration are keeps in the HD therefore I think to reload the system I need to have access FTP!! :?: :?:

Hi edgarm,

If I understand you, currently you still use LACIE firmware and you have a new raid5 with the new 2T disks.

As we don't use LACIE firmware ;) I don't have acknowledge how FTP server is set on the LACIE fimrware. What is your issue with the FTP server ?

Hi Jocko

Sorry was a Telnet opcion with your procedure, so the console showed me that can't access the Lacie device, then was when I tried to use one old Hardisk and can recover the access through web and create new RAID 5 with 4 more Hardisk of 2 TB.

Now I have one RAID 5 with 5 HDD of 2TB that give me 8TB to save information :)

Thanks a lot for your help and speed of answers
