Hello,
Anyone has installed sickrage?
Is possible to create a addon with this?

i tried to use with sickbeard addon, but i receive a error "segmentation fault".
The new python addon works but no have openssl.

sickrage need: python 2.7, Cheetah, pyopessl

pyopenssl need to compile some files and the firmware have no compiler.

python >=2.7.9 apparently no need pyopenssl

This evening I 'll look at what is wrong with sickbeard addon.

So I installed the sickbeard addons in accordance with fvdw's post : viewtopic.php?f=15&t=1612#p12124 with version 16.0.

And I succeeded to start first sabnzbd and then sickbeard without segmentation fault :scratch

At what step do you get the error message? And did you make some fs changes?

I advice you to reset fully addons folder and install again the addons previously installed.

sickbeard is ok, sickrage is the problem.
I use the sickbeard plugin because this have pyopenssl, so:
1. install sickbeard addon
2. download/clone the sickRAGE from https://github.com/SiCKRAGETV/SickRage
3. start

Hi killuabr,

Indeed as you wrote previously, you need some additional files having to be compiled.

As sickrage is a fork of sickbeard and from some Internet forum, I read this fork doesn't have real new features.

So why do you want to use it instead of sickbeard (and I don't think about its webinterface layout).

As in my opinion, we will handle only one package for this addon type.

i used both, and i prefer sickrage, he have
more Torrents Integration
much more Search Providers
Easy search and download for subtitles (Just enable subtitle download and SickRage should download appropriate subtitle automatically)
and in my opinion an interface more friendly

try to use with python addon without sickbeard and you will see.

Hi Jocko,

I'm also keen to get sickrage running on my NWSP2, been using it on a different NAS for 6mths now and I much prefer it over sickbeard.

As in my opinion, we will handle only one package for this addon type.

Agree completely, sickrage is the far superior package and would get my vote for sure!

In the meantime though, I followed same process as killuabr & am also getting errors due to python 2.7.3. Does anyone know if there's a way yet to update to python 2.7.10?

To be honest we did not worked at all on this addon since last August...(but it seems there is not much waiting about it).

So we go to add on our todo list (at least to upgrade python package)
