Hi arjanlugtenberg,

This disk should be ok for your NAS (and several users use it from some outputs posted here).

On my side, I'd rather the Western Digital disks (never get issue with them) and on Internet, some people think WD more reliable.
About Hitachi disks, at each time I had reliability problem (3 times / 3 disks :fuming )

As i have not read many reviews for the seagate NAS hdd and i am not convinced anymore about the reliability i will buy a Western Digital disk ( WD20EFRX)
