elFinder web explorer

elFinder web explorer

Postby raffio » Tue Dec 08, 2015 6:11 pm

Hello, I found this a little research file browser open source, I'm testing and works very well, and supports compressed into zip files larger than 2GB.
The truth would be a good file browser for this great firmware.

After several tests I realize higher 2Gb files that do not work, the most you download is 2Gb.

Hi raffio,

Anyhow, we need to replace web-explorer in the next version as it as an outdated application for example it uses some Java applets no longer supported for security issues or Chrome blocks them now by default.

I tried to use pydio (Ajaxplorer) but as owncloud is web-interface is too sophisticated and so not fast.

I go to look at alfinder.

Thanks Jocko just to try but it is very slow, also I wanted to try webdad cgi: http://sourceforge.net/projects/webdavc ... p_redirect

But where to start for installation. If neither official would also be fast or slow to load pages.

Hi raffio

if you want an access to your file over an http(s) protocol, use directly webdav.

pydio, elfinder webexplorer, ... are only applications that bring nothing more except to slow speed transfer

:disapprove This will not be the case for version 17.0

I already made some testings with Ajaxplorer which seems to be ok for updating web explorer but only on version 18.0
