FVDW firmware "Case Install"

Hi,

Version 16.0 supports d2n2 platfom (vers apr 2015) but you need to use fvdw-sl console version 5.5 (or version 5.4).

Note: But I just noticed the package version 16.1 for nwsp2, mwspmax and d2n2 can not be used for upgrading d2n2.

Ps ip address 127.x.x.x can not be used for network communication it used as loopback device on your pc or other devices

Im confused same with you after i have done install use fvdw version 5.5 and use UIMAGE KIRKWOOD, Suddenly IP has been change into loopback .. and I tried scan IP my D2N2 not yet found until now .. :sob :sob

I still don't understand, lets try step by step

(1) if you start the fvdw-sl-console which ip is then set for the nas and for your PC ?

If your PC has IP 127.0.0.0 then your network card has an issue or you have multiple network cards in your PC
If your pc has that ip it cannot talk to devices in the lan as it has not got an ip from the dhcp server

(2) If this is not the case and you have an ip like 192.168.x.x for your pc then if you load the the standalone kernel what happens with these ips in the fvdw-sl console ?

time i tried direct between My NAS and My PC instant IP show random or not same 1 subnet and only stuck at waiting for u-boot ..

2. What this is make my nas totally crash or able any step for life back like as normally using ? :scratch
