hey BTW, did try my wordpress from external after I did the port forward. Guess what? nothing worked. :hairpull Same as before... Now I suspected that wordpress doesn't play well if install from a local host. After some research I found a guy wh had the same problem as me. All in all you just can't access a wordpress site using local host AND external link if using a DDNS service. In the config option you have a option for changing the link of the wordpress host.
I did it and now it works from the web but not when using local host. It's hardcoded and can't be changed. The reason behind this is maybe 99.9% of people host their wordpress so they only access it from the WAN. I'm one of the few who can access my wordpress from local host.
Anyway it's working now and I just access my wordpress always from the wan. I had to change the link in the wordpress admin page.
Thats explains why I was able to access my old installation from a windows machine and not from my mac as local host aren't written the same way. (windows: NS2 and MAC as you said is NS2.local)
