Hi world,
I'm newbie.
I have cloudbox (without hdd).
I have hdd (80GB)
Can i use this disk with cloudbox?
I will make partitions with partition magic...I see how to make it.
I have this file: xfvdw-sl-16-0-cloudbox-30dec2014.bin (inside have file.img and somethink about sda5)
But I dont know how "fill" partitions with this file.

can you help me?

Thanks,
best regards,
Jose.

Hi janafer,

Yes with a 80GB we can do a very small NAS. You should have as data partition : ~ 70GiB but for testing it is enough.

humm Why complicate things when they can be simple?
Why don't you want to use fvdw-sl console ? (viewtopic.php?f=7&t=2224) Which will format your disk without any manual command !

Hi janafer,

Did you follow exactly the steps as explained in the related help ?
(for example disable your anti-virus and firewall, start the nas at the right step,...) I advice to read it twice.

Other idea did you check 92.168.136.252 is in the IP range of your DCHP server ?
