So redid everything again.
But this time i am using the key generated from the NAS.
Deleted everything locally and FTP to the NAS so copied everything to the NAS to sync down.

It syncs down.
But if i make something on my MacBook, it doesnt Sync up.
But if i make a new file on the NAS via FTP it syncs down to the Macbook.

According with what you wrote, it is as if you used the read-only key and not the write key.

I suggested to use another old btsync version as I read some issues with version 1.4 and Mac

So can you install version 1.3 on one MacBook to see what happens. (http://syncapp.bittorrent.com/1.3.109/)

To downgrade you need to uninstall fully version 1.4 on your MacBook.

Came home to test things.
Using BT Sync 1.3.109

Re-connected everything.

- Both MacBooks are syncing.
- No changes or new files on the NAS from MacBook.
BTW: New files on the NAS is being pushed down to MacBook. Files just arent been pushed up as it says it is.

This is so... :hairpull :hairpull

Where is the sync log on the NAS?
I was looking for it.

Also, does it matter that the sync folder on my NAS is in a private share and not public?

you find sync.log here:
Jocko wrote:maybe you should read the log files on the both sides.

On your MacBook I don't know where it is but you find it (sync.log) in the folder /share/1000/btsync on the NAS.

No it is unrelated. These settings are used by other servers (samba, ftp, ...)
