New Btsync version

Hello

I've done setup date & clock same between D2N2 & PC but why still same with previously, I mean there is wrong with my side, this time I do not know what I should do.

I think that you misunderstand how works btsync.

First, it is not a good idea to synchronize the btsync share. btsync share is the technical share to allow to run btsync (and so no longer have the size issue with file system). Here, btsync stores several technical files and so you ask to btsync to synchronize these files with your folder download :disapprove

So what you should do :
- delete the share btsync because I assume that some files or btsync db are corrupted
- reinstall btsync and start it
- create a new share or a subfolder in an existing share.
- when you import the key of the download folder settings from your PC (not the link http://...) you select this subfolder/share and not the share btsync.

I've follow your all according but same with my side not start, Really confused whats wrong with my side ?

My D2N2 Side :

I tried start server btsync from WebManagement and the Okay so show access ip-address:8888 and the I tried insert to web address and show user=admin pass=bt1234 and the show home of bittorrentsync 1.2

My PC Side
I tried create one sync and I copy keys into D2N2 and the in D2N2 first step I add folder so Im insert Key and I generate and change to real key and I tried change destination sync from share btsync into /share/1000/malik (not /share/1000/btsync) then stuck not start

Note : But is a share btsync folder in D2N2 delete not yet,

What my information at above step is wrong ?

This was the first step to do ! As I am pretty sure that either btsync db or some technical files are corrupted when you have selected the share btsync to synchronize it-self with your PC.

So
1/ stop btsync -> delete the share btsync. On the PC side, it would be better to remove all sync related with your d2nw2.
2/ install again btsync and start btsync
3/ on the pc side create a new sync with your folder "downloads" and get its key (readonly or full)
4/ go to the btsync web-interface of your d2nw2 (it should have no folder selected), add a folder (=> select your share malik) and paste the key.

That's all.

Please to check again the datetime, In putty do

Another question.

Did you use before btsync on your PC ? It is logical and obvious but when you install it on your PC, at a step, the install program asks you if it have to install an exception for btsync in your firewall.
Did you accept it ?

Of course, if you don't, it is normal that btsync fails to synchronize :evilwink

Indeed you made an error.

But first about time, there were 3 commands to do

Please to check again the datetime, In putty do

both first dates have to be the same than your PC and the 3th must be in UTC.

You misunderstand how btsync works to synchronize two folders : folders are synchronized on two hosts only if they are the same secret key (or the same link).

In your example, C.MININOTE have its own key/link and same thing with the share malik. => no synchronization can be done...

So in the btsync web-interface of your d2nw2, delete the folder.

In btsync interface of your PC, you must do :
1/ get the key instead of the link

2/ copy the wanted key

select2.jpg

Then go to the btsync web-interface of your d2nw2,
3/ add the folder /share/1000/malik
4/ instead of 'generate' the secret key, paste the secret key of C.MININOTE.

Now you have tow folders sharing a same secret key and you should be able to synchronize.

About the sent key, currently my nas is not synchronized with your folder (maybe the nas is shutdown ?)

Hello .. Sorry I busy from yesterday and I have time to replies

From the last guide I am found notif about more than 600 second

So before I've done setup time & date as /UTC asumse same with my Laptop Clock ..

But between my clock and /UTC very different I am stay in GMT +7 Bangkok/Jakarta

What is to be problem because a different set time zone ? :thinking

So with your test, I can say that there is no issue with btsyn the NAS.

(Btsync doesn't synchronize if the time difference is more than 600.
