place back original firmware

Hey,

I am not really happy with this NAS, so I decided to sell it of, however I would like to return it with the default firmware. Is this possible ?
I found this reference, though I'm not sure if this fixes it or just tries updating... http://manuals.lacie.com/nl/manuals/cb/07_device/update

that is a link to update the lacie firmware if you have it already running
If you have acopy of the original partitions then you could use these to restore, there is enough information in the cloudbox forum to read how

But, why do that you could also sell it with our firmware still on it ;)

Could you post a link to that forum ?

I could sell like this, but it's up to the new owner, I doubt the target audience needs the extra functionality that this firmware gives. I doubt I have saved the original partitions, but I can just regenerate those no ?

But if you don't have the files of the original firmware, well then you need to find one that is willing to post them, I don't have them
