Thank you

Thank you

Again you guys save me.
So as I reported in another thread my Lacie had issues after a power outage, looks like things are more terminal than I hoped so I'm gonna need to reinstall the disk etc at some future point. But enter R Pi to the rescue.

Simple install and booted first time.

I have connected my 3TB external USB disk and its mounted correctly.
However there is one issue. The share for the disk is not automatically created. If I get on with SSH I can see that the disk has been mounted to /share/2000
But that mount / share etc is not listed under "File Share Management".
If I create a new share under that, the new share is available for selection in MiniDLNA.

Any ideas on what I can do to change that behaviour.

Thank you again for keeping me with a functioning nas.

Hi rafesl,

As RPi doesn't have internal disks, the usb disks are not handled like external disks. The partitions found on the USB disks are mounted as the data partition sda8 with the other NAS, their mount point is 200x.
With version 15.3, there is a procedure to restore the shares when you unplug and plug the disks, you must only create once the shares for each existing folders to the partition root. Of course, the folder names must contains only these characters a-zA-Z0-9 and -
