Sickbeard Error

Sickbeard Error

Postby karainier » Mon May 05, 2014 1:05 am

Is anyone running the 15.2 firmware and noticing a sickbeard error in their logs:
"Unable to start web server, is something else running on port 8081?"
I've changed the port multiple times and restart and get the same error each time. The only thing i've read on the SB forums is that it may be an issue with certain Linux Kernels. If no one else is having an issue, I'll pursue it elsewhere, but I thought I would ask.

8081 is reserved for sickbeard.
I did not try sickbeard with 15-2 yet, in 15-3 we will move on to kernel 3.13 but I don't think that this is a kernel issue
If I have some time I see if sickbeard runs ok on 15-2

I also tried port 8081 and it runs fine as well, off course first sabnzbd must be running..and on a different port

I should clarify that I am using SB Echel0n branch for torrent support and I did follow the instructions. It is odd because I still have access to the Web GUI and SB seems to running fine despite generating the error. It actually only shows up in the info log (as an error) and not the error log. I would say that it is a branch specific problem, but I have tried multiple branches as well. But if it is working, I am not overly worried about it. Thank you for looking into it though.
