Is it working normally after reboot and what happens if you run it without nzbget ?

What I see is that when I start downloading with nzbget, memory consumption is continously increasing.
Until about 3000 is free. This is takes about 2 minutes. Than it stabalizes. In this situation it can run a few hours.

1] How can I check the disk on bad sectors?? (Idea to include this in the admin console??)
2] Since a few weeks I access the web interface of nzbget on my mobile phone using chrome.... And transmission using the App of transmission.
3] The recompilation is also where I thought of, I use nzbget since 2 years now?? from version fvdw 10 ???

Last night no problems occurd, disk works fine. Didn't do a mobile web view...

to check on bbad blocks you could follow the method describe here
http://linuxpoison.blogspot.nl/2008/01/ ... s-and.html

You only need to check /dev/sda1, dev/sda2, /dev/sda5, /dev/sda6 and /dev/sda7
For being able to run e2fsck you probably need to dismount partitions. Its a bad idea to run it on mounted partitions. Of course unmountig the system partition will also cause problems. But first do the check if there are bad blocks at all

ps you could check also /dev/sda8 the main data partition but that will take a looong time and as the system is not running from that it is unlikely that it causes the issue 9with exception of the add-ons those run from sda8...But I think this could never cause the webinterface to become not responsive

ps2 in the system setting you can set the amount of memory used for the web interface. This will greatly increase response speed. The nwsp has 256 MB so you can use setting "high"

I will recompile nzbget as well the current version you use 9-0 as the latest one 12-0

attached two files
one zip archive. fvdw-sl-15.1-libstdc-6.0.18-9-mar-2014.zip
This is a patch needed to make upgrade libstdc++ in the firmware, nzbget is compiled against that new vesion
Use the upload patch file menu in the web interface to install it. (how ? please read the help text for that menu in the web interface)

The second one is a tar archive addon-nzbget-9.0-glibc-2.17-9mar14.tar
containing the recompiled nzbget 9-0 version. Unpack it in the addons sub folder in the fvdw share (just like you installed the original addon). Please note that extracting this archive will overwrite any file with same name in those folders, so you settings may be lost (make a backup first)

nzbget 12-0 refused to compile, it needs update of the "par check libs", that is more work and the weather is too nice to stay inside, so a job for the evening or so, sorry to keep you waiting

First I tried the recompiled nzbget 9.0. Nzbget stopped after 1 night. Also after accessing the admin console, the admin console wasn't reachable. In general the same issue nothing improved.

Now I increased the memory size for the webserver.
Lets see..

Will test nzbget 12.0 later...

Looks like with Web Server set to high, no problems. Using top command I see that free memory never drops to 3000.
During downloading with nzbget. Free memory is between 50000 and 7000 now....

It's running for more than 1 days now....

Nope it hangs again. Admin console is accessable, but no responses to commands. Nzbget hangs also...

so try nzbget 12-0 to see if that solves it

one ofthe bug solvd in 12-0 is
fixed: malformed nzb-file could cause a memory leak;
