You like to live dangerously: do not make commands without knowing if they can lose your data! :disapprove

But happy to heard that you restored yourself the two shares :whistle

Watch I solved in a different way but I think it was the same thing ....

1. From the web interface, I changed the name on fileshare Venus and Pluto in contrast to the other disk

2. I went into winscp and on individual disks I deleted the individual folders for duplicate empty

3. restart the samba nas and now I find folders as before and I did not create the double vacuum

You say not good as I did?

EDIT

and here is a step forward with the MacBookPro I'm trying to a colleague with the latest operating system and apple picking works beautifully 700mb file in less than a minute ......

So I can rule out that it is a configuration problem Nas ....

The problem remains, however, why do you think windows 7 64bit, windows xp sp3, windows 8.1, Samba does not handle well?

The network consists of 100% how I can fix these systems according to you? turning on the internet I can not find uid or another problem inherent in this

I use windows 7 64bits, and XP sp3 and have no problems with samba to downlaod small, big and very big files from the NAS.
Also nobody else mention this problem
So if you did not something special I don't think it is windows. It must be your network switch or router.

Are you sure that there are no devices in your network that use the same ip address....

1.Time test put unl'tro router and network switch and see if it creates the same thing

2. I try to remove the network switch and connect the nas to the router and one PC and see if the problem is still

ps
is the ip are all different nas pc 192.168.1.71 192.168.1.2, 192.168.1.3, 192.168.1.1 router 192.168.4 192.168.5

1. then the first test with the router connected to the Italian telecom dialface nas and portable

192.168.1.3 pc (windows7 64bit) nas 192.168.1.71 both connected to the router simply

Result: The transfer is not terminated crashes like the pictures posted in previous posts

2. second test with Pirelli Telecom Italy router connected to the nas and portable

192.168.1.2 pc (windows7 64bit) nas 192.168.1.71 both connected to the router simply

Result: the same test number 1, the transfer is not terminated crashes like the pictures posted in previous posts

so I guess that is not a problem of network switch that was not connected to anything right

kernel module seems to be ok.

do you have another program to copy files in samba instead of windows explorer ?
if so, does that give the same problem ?

and here is a step forward with the MacBookPro I'm trying to a colleague with the latest operating system and apple picking works beautifully 700mb file in less than a minute ......

if a mac works why does windows explorer has problems... :scratch :hairpull

Result: the same test number 1, the transfer is not terminated crashes like the pictures posted in previous posts

you write that the transfer is "not" terminated crashes....does this mean it now works ok with the different set up ?
