Spin-down and MiniDLNA conflict?

I make the following settings:

- Spin-down guard Internal Hard Disk - 15 min
- MiniDLNA: notify interval - 900s (15 min)

This means that the HDD would never enter in standby mode?

It could be, but I don't know how minidlna checks if media folder are changed, if it performs a scan of the folders then yes it will never spin down. If it use the kernel notify system then it may not spin up the disk
