wireless connection speeds are always lower due to interference.
The 16 MB/s is more close to what is possible typically I get 20-25 MB/s on gigabit lan (wired)

That doesn't explain the scp transfer speed (wired) :/

Another thing, I can't use nfs. I setting up it and nfs is enabled (I apply the patch too)

/etc/exports :
Code: Select all
"/share/1000/public" 192.168.1.0/24(rw,sync,no_root_squash,no_subtree_check)
"/share/1000/warez" 192.168.1.0/24(rw,sync,no_root_squash,no_subtree_check)

On client :
Code: Select all
$ showmount -e 192.168.1.42
Export list for 192.168.1.42:
/share/1000/warez  192.168.1.0/24
/share/1000/public 192.168.1.0/24
$ sudo mount -t nfs 192.168.1.42:/share/1000/public /media/nfs
mount.nfs: access denied by server while mounting 192.168.1.42:/share/1000/public

Maybe I miss something...

scp transfer is encrypted, that slows down the transfer considerably.

about nfs , how did you create the exports list, did you use the webinterface ?

Yes, with "add an IP".

then it is impossible to get the export file you post....
a line like this is not possible to get when adding an ip,
Code: Select all
"/share/1000/public" 192.168.1.0/24(rw,sync,no_root_squash,no_subtree_check)

add the ip of the machine you want to use as client (192.168.1.42) per folder you want to share
the entry in the exports file then should look like this
Code: Select all
"/share/1000/public" 192.168.1.42(rw,sync,no_root_squash,no_subtree_check)

:disapprove No fvdw, I added this option in this menu
Remote Host
You can enter either an IP address or a netmask. The network masks are allowed on the last octet (4) IP address: 0/24 and higher. (Example 192.168.1.0/27). Before saving the settings, the firmware runs a validity check.
But I am not fully test it.
I will do a check.

You better check it Jocko, as I read on the internet various examples that this syntax is not correct :whistle

Indeed I can't mount a NFS
Same behaviour with 192.168.1.xxx or 192.168.1.0/24

So need to deepen this :thinking

Still the temporary bug with the NFS server...

After deleting all IP clients and start twice the NFS server, this one works now nice, :scratch

I can mount nfs folder with 192.168.1.99 or 192.168.1.0/24 in the export file.

So that means that in the firmware image should have a wrong setting that would be overwritten after starting twice the nfs server
(I used my second NFS server where I didn't yet use NFS server after upgrading the firmware)
