python and flexget support (add-on)

Some users mentioned problems with the python add-on for fvdw-sl firmware.
It seems that the latest kernel upgrades are the cause.
In the add-ons download topic you can now download a new add-on. Besides python 2.7.3 it also contains setuptools for python (pip version 1.2.1) to be used to install python applications and furthermore also flexget (version 1.1.3)
With flexget we probably will do more in future

I got it installed too.

Have tried to install Python, but do not think I got it to work. Hade downloaded the correct package from addons put it in addons/fvdw and unpacked through ssh. And now I do not know what to do. I want to install SickBeard!

well you can install python as addon (see download section of the forum)

I might have a look at it when I have some time if then sickbeard can be installed

I have now SABnzdb running, :punk then sickboard should be possible as well

It requires some extra modules in python, so our python addon must be upgraded

I followed the steps in this guide: viewtopic.php?f=15&t=1612

But I still couldn't manage to get this thing running.

I am using v16-1

When I untar the archive, all the files were put in the addons folder. Do I miss any further steps?

/usr/local/sabnzbd/SABnzbd.py is not available on my 5BIGnetwork2

First give more detail about your config : do you set a RAID with your 5big2?
