Install SVN and wiki sw

Postby accacca » Sat Nov 02, 2013 7:31 am

I bought a second lacie nsv2 I would like to install SVN and WIKI sw
I can do it if I change the original fw nas with fvdw-sl?

If I use a 1TB disk do not need to reflash U-BOOT correct?
I did not understand the difference (but I read quickly the help) between write fvdw and install fvdw
I thnik my correct action is Install.fvdw after erase partitions with fdisk

yes you can change the original firmware to fvdw-sl
I don't understand what you exactly mean with "install SVN and WIKI sw.

If you use a 1TB disk ther is indeed no reason to flash u-boot

In the fvdw-sl console you could use the fvdw-sl installer, it will erase the partitions for you.
If you use the firmware image writer you can only write it to already prepared disk with the new partition table
So I would advise to use the fdw-sl installer

Is not very clear also for me.... I would like to install two programs
1.- Subversion server (like as described here for example)
http://mark.koli.ch/2010/03/howto-setting-up-your-own-svn-server-using-apache-and-mod-dav-svn.html

2.- I would like to install wiki software such as docuwiki
