thx fvdw !

Another module seems to be needed
Code: Select all
xfs: Unknown symbol exportfs_decode_fh (err 0)

you need to wait compiler is running for another task.

In the bunch of modules I compiled exportfs module is missing. Seem it needs to be enbled in the kernel. Sorry to keep you waiting

ok...as soon as compiler is availailable I will compile it.
its funny that xfs needs symbols from that module as it is a module for nfs filesystems.
as nfs is not selected in the kernel configuration it is not compiled. So I must enable nfs in the kernel config.
I hope the kernel module compiled will load then in kernel 31

found the reason. Some modules were from earlier compiles, the xfs module was one of them.
xfs file system support was totally disabled in kernel 31 as result also no support for exportfs.

So I needed to recompile the kernel with xfs set as module, that includes then support for exportfs.
Consequence is you need to upload a new standalone kernel and of course all modules...(remember this thing runs from RAM all what you uploaded is lost, unless it was copied to disk partition.

attached a new kernel 9hopefully it has not become to big, looking to file size it should be ok)
also attached a new set of modules including xfs kernel module in combination with kernel 32 it should not complain about missing symbols anymore
You do not have the required permissions to view the files attached to this post.
