Where to begin?

I got a Lacie Network Space 2 and I wanted to try this alternative firmware but I don't know what firmware to begin and what method to use.

Can you guys shed me some lights?

the easiest way for first install on a nwsp2 is using the fvdw-sl console that runs under windows.
Before you start check if you nwsp2 is a lite or classic version. see here viewtopic.php?f=11&t=213

yes in the fvdw-sl console there is a help file

If you do not want to use the automatic install feature of the console and prefer manual installation via a pc running Linux you can find info here.

This will install fvdw-sl 11-0 for nwsp (it has a guide how to do it). After that you can upgrade to 15-0
