The command worked, although the email was marked as spam in the mailbox. Now, how do I make it run from the Web interface?

if it works in Putty, it should do it from the Web interface. Indeed, the test uses the same commandline

From internet, I read that some ISPs nowadays deny or blackhole emails if no valid hostname. It seems that your ISP does not allow the keyword localhost (or does not succeed to get your WANIP : see the ISP box firewall)

Just for testing can you edit the file mail, and replace the line 60

by echo 'EHLO yourpublicIP' where yourpublicIP is the WAN Ip provided by your ISP.

Then check if you can send an email
