attached a new set of files
owfs recompiled to be installed as addon (now also with owphp enabled)
fvdw-sl-addon-owfs-2.9p0-vs2.zip

the second archive contains libfuse and the recompiled libusd to be extraced in root of system
libfuse-libusb.zip

Hi fvdw

I tried your update, still no luck with that...
root@jackanas:/sys/bus # owfs --debug --mountpoint=/tmp/1wire --USB=ALL
DEBUG MODE
libow version:
2.9p0
CONNECT: owfs.c:(96) fuse mount point: /tmp/1wire
CONNECT: ow_avahi_link.c:(68) No Avahi support. Library libavahi-client couldn't be loaded
CONNECT: ow_dnssd.c:(82) Zeroconf/Bonjour is disabled since dnssd library isn't found
CALL: ow_parsename.c:(98) path=[]
DEBUG: owlib.c:(81) Globals temp limits 0C 100C (for simulated adapters)
DEBUG: ow_ds9490.c:(238) Look for all USB adapters
Segmentation fault

Well, it seems difficult to get it working...

I will try to get the own onewire integrated driver in kernel to be more stable, I found some tips https://www.kernel.org/doc/Documentation/w1/w1.generic

I'll post news from that...

Hi fvdw,

well, i didn't really understand how w1 was managed in kernel...

so with generic driver you compiled first, i can force w1 not to search always on the bus, by default, it searches continiously every 10 seconds, but if you don't add any devicers, no need to search...

i've updated w1 conf file with 0, no search
w1_master_search - the number of searches left to do, -1=continual (default)

now it seems more stable but i'm still getting trouble sometimes...

if you want to test, it's great to get it working !! I'm using only temp sensors but you can add a lot of sensors !

see pm...

I'm very interested in home automation...

I've just discovered a wonderful module to receive and transmit a lot of signals upon 433mhz frequency : http://www.rfxcom.com/store/Transceivers/12103

It would be great, especially for me with oregon scietific wireless sensors, but there is still the problem of the software...
So, one seems to be good to manage that kind of modules : http://fhem.de/fhem.html#Download
written in Perl, it seems to need only that : "Make sure you have perl. Most certainly you will need the Device::SerialPort perl module"

I saw your perl addon, but it seems specific for logitech software, no ?

Amazing to do home automation on nwsp2 !

very interesting :thumbup for sure I will look into later

The perl version included in Logitech addon can be used also for other puprose, but probaly this specific module you mention will be missing

Indeed doing home automation on nwsp2 is amazing, but its 800 mhz cpu and 256 MB ram makes it suitable for many purposes, although also too much running at same time will affect performance.
Maybe we should open a topic in development specific for this subject

First need to finsih the ms-windows gui to make installation of the firmware easier for less experienced users
