Hi,

Here we go, just installed one nwsp2, a light version, i'm now with your 13.0 firmware.
Quite a good job as usually, thank you !

Well, now i'm going to use some usb devices and drivers are not loaded in the rcS file.
I tried loading with insmod manually, but the drivers are not in the /boot directory...
I think I'm wrong with something....
I wanted to use some devices with pl2303 and FTDI...
Could you help me, please ?

yes this is normal on nwsp2 usbfs is no longer supported in new kernels and thats why it gives this message
You can use
Code: Select all
lsusb -t

that should give some output

In the next release we will incorporate a script that can be used to get info on usb-devices
I attached it for you so you can give that a try as well, it will give more output then lsusb -t

Hi fvdw

thank you for your help.

usb-devices gives useful info, that's right...

I have a driver problem with a OneWire DS2490 usb stick
usb-devices gives that : also no driver it seems...

T: Bus=01 Lev=02 Prnt=70 Port=00 Cnt=01 Dev#= 54 Spd=12 MxCh= 0
D: Ver= 1.00 Cls=ff(vend.) Sub=ff Prot=ff MxPS= 8 #Cfgs= 1
P: Vendor=04fa ProdID=2490 Rev=00.02
C: #Ifs= 1 Cfg#= 1 Atr=e0 MxPwr=100mA
I: If#= 0 Alt= 0 #EPs= 3 Cls=ff(vend.) Sub=ff Prot=ff Driver=(none)

PS : I'm using the ones you gave me in the zip file (2303, FTDI and usb-serial)

no kernel module for that also I can find nothing about in the kernel configuration options
It should use usb-storage module, suppose that you that still have loaded

I will look at later, so to see it is part of the kernel sources, so only need to find out which module to activate

found it the kernel source under W1, its not an usb stick for storage but a one wire device with a sensor or so. Anyhow, I compiled them for you andattached the two kernel modules that you require to get it supported ;)

Lets us know if it works

Thank you for that, but...

these 2 drivers do the job for the driver
T: Bus=01 Lev=02 Prnt=27 Port=00 Cnt=01 Dev#= 28 Spd=12 MxCh= 0
D: Ver= 1.00 Cls=ff(vend.) Sub=ff Prot=ff MxPS= 8 #Cfgs= 1
P: Vendor=04fa ProdID=2490 Rev=00.02
C: #Ifs= 1 Cfg#= 1 Atr=e0 MxPwr=100mA
I: If#= 0 Alt= 0 #EPs= 3 Cls=ff(vend.) Sub=ff Prot=ff Driver=DS9490R

But I can't request the bus 1w as I did with digitemp (a binary)...

I'lm trying to get it working with owfs that is a brower upon the 1w bus as a folder structure. (the bus is mounted as a fiel system)
I can't find any working version for this arm architecture...

I hope you can help me...
