Hi taetae,

Thank for these output.

Now, i understand why the script failed to detect the internal disks. indeed it's because 5big1 uses a pci interface

Now I need to set a stable way to check if a disk is internal or esata or an USB disk...

did you reboot and checked if now the shut down and reboot button in the web interface work ? :tapfoot

about e-sata, how can you have one connected without knowing :twak

and I think you have a bad connection on your serial cable or the e-sata cable causes interference with the serial console

and even if you restart the interface seems to do something from the serial does not do anything in fact remains on

I did it, does not work.

reboot the nas,I press the button interface makes the countdown, but in the end remains on

You get the countdown when using the reboot button...
When using shutdown no countdown is given

Of course when using reboot it remains on.

To see if reboot and shutdown commands are working properly, you can give in putty window

by serial commands works even if the device does not turn off (poweroff) but remains off as if access is only part of the firmware or goes into hibernation

Hi taetae,

Before continuing how the firmware handles the internal/external disks, we need to validate several points. A new version of the kernel could be required.
I think you have to wait 15 days for testing a new version of the script to update the disk database. :whistle

Otherwise, could you post the content of the folder?
