Then the issue must be in our script to mount volumes. I need to talk with Jocko.
I will be back later this week as probably some more scripts needs to be adapted

No problem. I can test it when you guys will be ready.

P.S. When I do poweroff system does not turn off:

I think so - disc is not spinning but led is still lit.

I have a first patch for you, in directory /etc/finc of the chrooted system replace the file dm_update_single_db.finc with one in the attached zip archive.
Then in directory /rw_fs extract the p5-baser.tar.gz, it will overwrite the nas database with the default one

you can do this by usig a program link winscp to transfer the files and ssh connection extract the archive in rw_fs folder

Do not use the webinterface as that might again change the database

Then reboot by giving command
Code: Select all
reboot

After reboot you should have sda8 mounted as it should

dm_update_single_db.finc replaced but I don't see p5-baser.tar.gz archive...

Ok. Now the right partition is presented on "System information".

I think I have to Initialize or maybe Reset partition because there is no free space.

There is also strange status on File share tab:
disc3.jpg

Check the Total size and Free size - it says "wait..."

I cannot restart NAS - Could not restart NAS - (2) :dontknow

After refreshing page:
Code: Select all
NAS restarting on user's request
Restore the regular boot mode...
OK
NAS is restarting...NOK

P.S. I had to disconnect power - now it looks almost ok.

Home directories seems to be broken:

The formatting succeeded but the nas restart command is not working. Thats to be investigated
Furthermore the ftp home directory is broken because the formatting erased the shared folders, you have to recreate them. I think in your case it was the folder "public"
