Pyload posible??

Pyload posible??

Postby raffio » Fri Feb 27, 2015 7:34 pm

Hi, first of all I want to thank the developers and I apologize for my English.
I did the installation of the firmware and everything was perfect, I have a problem with web server but I'll see how I solve it.

I wonder if the installation of pyLoad with this firmware is possible, it is possible to do this or someone knows how to do it?

Thank You

Hi raffio,

As it is a python feature, we should be able to implement it.

Need to deepen this but on my side I don't have much time next weeks.

Thanks Jocko I will try to install a system and asusrt-n66u with an operating system like entware a new partition and then install pyLoad not know if this is possible but I go by any evidence, possibly stop the firmware function that I am fond but everything can re-install. If I find the solution you what passeth to add in future versions. If you can not find it and I can not have someone more skilled as you are able to install pyLoad.

Thanks and good job

Sorry for my English

After several attempts I could not install python and errors of disk space, I find myself unable to do an installation of this type.

Hi raffio,

I did not understand that you will try on your side !

Install pyload via ipkg is not the good way :disapprove (not enough free space with the system partition).

About python, it can be installed via an addon :shocked Look at here: viewtopic.php?f=15&t=1084

After you need to download directly the source files (but I don't have yet studied these files).

Currently, you overloaded your system partition :whistle To restore you need to upgrade the firmware via the upgrade menu with the package for nwsp2 (viewtopic.php?f=7&t=2024#p16825)

Some progress but not succeed to get pyload running...

It seems that some modules are missing with our python version
Code: Select all
root@Acrab:/direct-usb/fvdw/addons/pyload # python pyLoadCore.py
Traceback (most recent call last):
  File "pyLoadCore.py", line 48, in <module>
    from module.network.RequestFactory import RequestFactory
  File "/share/1100/fvdw/addons/pyload/module/network/RequestFactory.py", line 22, in <module>
    from Browser import Browser
  File "/share/1100/fvdw/addons/pyload/module/network/Browser.py", line 6, in <module>
    from HTTPRequest import HTTPRequest
  File "/share/1100/fvdw/addons/pyload/module/network/HTTPRequest.py", line 20, in <module>
    import pycurl
ImportError: No module named pycurl
So at least pycurl module is missing.

Additional information with my previous post :
- After installing the python addons, download the Source Code - Platform Independent (http://download.pyload.org/pyload-src-v0.4.9.zip)
- unzip the archive : for example in the folder /direct-usb/fvdw/addons.

But now need to add this python module. (need to deepen this point with fvdw)

Hi raffio,

Before releasing the add-on, we need to validate the configuration.

I think that we may release a beta version within two days.
