Hi amrmagdyy,

This option is disabled for using with fvdw-sl. The files are always downloaded in the share tr-downloads

Before the 16.0 update i was able to change the download location and it was set perfectly in my private downloads folder, is there a way to retrive or roll back to the old transmssion that was set with the 15.3 or even roll back to 15.3

The main reason all the NAS owners which is compatible with FVDW switch to it, is to remove limitations of their device, not to set limitations, changing the directory of the download is one of the simplest thing a user can ask for

for a basic user like me which is all about storing my stuff in my personal cloud and downloading torrents and such stuff, you used to have an advance than the stock firmware with giving me unlimited options and settings for the torrent client and it looks like your going to start limiting the options for your software, I'm seriously afraid that I might regret removing the stock firmware.

This limit is existing since the first transmission client implementation.
Just seems that with cloudbox we forgot to use the patch.

This is done previously only because you can easily overload the fs partition: transmissioncli developers are a bit lazy to allow it without any control (just an input field!)
and now we need to control where the data files are saved for the add-ons feature.

I feel the need to react to this. I think you are wrong, what you mention is to my opinion not the the main reason why people would want to use our alternative firmware. The reason is that if offers much more then the stock firmware.
That we incorporate some measures to protect less experienced users for making the device unusable is not a limitation. You could have explained your issue better and asked if we could make an adaptation to satisfy your need before making a statement as you did.

PS We do not have a problem if you want to revert back to the lacie firmware, by all means, it is your own choice. I hope you will be more happy with that.
