1 When you turn all the LEDs flash
2.se do the commands that I have posted on "net5big: blink: front" does not change anything echo '0' > /sys/class/leds/net5big:blink:front/brightness (or with value 1) . YES I KNOW THAT NOTHING CHANGES AT THIS TIME.
3 if you do the commands that I have posted on "net5big: red: front" can not turn on and turn off the light and then I can use the controls on both "net5big: blink: front," "net5big: blue: front"YES I KNOW IT. BUT DON'T DO THAT
AND NOW REBOOT ONCE
IF LEDS ARE NOT BLINKING REBOOT ONCE MORE.

Indeed this is what I had asked and indeed fails to disable LEDs blinking. Maybe, we misunderstood what you wrote previously or you forgot some thing.
So we can forget this way and follow logically because with your reports I am lost.

1. Front LED red on => front LED is red and not blinking
2. Front LED red blinking => front LED is red and blinking
3. Front LED blue on => front LED is blue and not blinking
4. Front LED blue blinking => front LED is blue and blinking
5. Front LED off => front LED is off
6. Satax LED blue on => satax LED is blue and not blinking (satax can be sata0,sata2,...)
7. Satax LED blue blinking => satax LED is blue and blinking
8. Satax LED off => satax LED is off
9. Satax LED red on => satax LED is red and not blinking (satax can be sata0,sata2,...)
10. Satax LED red blinking => satax LED is red and blinking

:thumbup That is another thing that I did not understand...

If I reread some old posts written by you and I understand well, you must have this behaviour after rebooting to reset your last LED changes:
After echoing in a sata red or blue LED, you can do some echos with the front LED.

So do these cases, and please report still the LEDs status (be careful you need to reboot the NAS between each case)
