Hi taetae,

I have set a new script to update the disk database but I'd rather that you are at home to test it (need to install a new kernel version and if there are some issues it's easier to debug and restore your NAS). You should also make several reboots : stop/start without USB or esata disk; stop/start with only USB disks; stop/start with only esata and stop/start with USB and esata disk.

Also, I think we should test it only when the fan control step will be ended. ;)

hello guys soon I get home ... I still use the NAS remotely and I have not had many problems in loading the files that go on quietly but to download files of a certain crandezza (1.8 gb, 3.4 / 4 gb) every time I try to bring about a any computer on the network from my mistake and makes me download ... started well but then after a few seconds the download freezes and then by mistake ....

it is as if it fell sharply the connection.

mmmm ... Ripert that there is something wrong at the network level with the nos

out of curiosity I carried 1 file size 1.50 gb between two computers on the same network settati both gigabit and the connection is successful with a transfer rate of 60 MB per second 65

with our nas falls drastically max 27MB to 26MB and fails to finish the transfer on the PC may be some problem with the connection as if it saturates all??

I can set some parameter somewhere? if I'm not mistaken the network card of the nas should not be a gigabit?

thanks for the advice ... at the moment I can not withdraw from the nos large files because it does not bring to an end the process

PCs are connected to the nas via a gigabit switch

other tests: between pc and pc the results are good I tried to do the test from pc to nas and vice versa, and the test works .....

I wonder now may be a problem with operating systems??

:scratch

I am a liitle lost what you trying to explain.

I understand that the transfer in the LAN form NAS->PC and PC->NAS is ok

So the problem is if you transfer files from LAN to a PC on the internet ?

no, the problem is this that I can send the data to the nas but then I can not bring them back on any PC connected to the network ....

I tried to use the program that does the speed test ... and he actually manages to accomplish the transfer ....

if I try to do it manually by dragging it does not work hangs like the pictures posted in the first post ...

I would like to TEST USING FTP (WITH THE HOPE THAT THE QUESTION RELATES TO SAMBA)

Hi taetae,

you can try to use the samba log to see what happens

details in this post http://www.plugout.net/viewtopic.php?f=28&t=1547&p=12274&hilit=samba+debug#p12274
