Maybe this is a stupid question but my problem is:

I use in another location (another IP) the wget function from the nas with rapidshare (copy / paste link) and I am very happy with this function

There is some web when I create a link to copy to my nas dont allow because the link is only valid for the current IP

There is any way to create from another location a link with my IP adress?

I have a static IP "xxx.servebeer.com" and i use it to connect to my nas from other locations but there is some way to connect with this IP ??

Do you have a remote shell access from your other location ?

If yes, you can try to open a shell terminal (Putty) and run directly a wget command.

To do that, you must of course forward (router) the port used by the SSH server and I advice you to use the key mode

My problem is I must create a link for download (with capcha intruduction) in a remote place and then copy to the nas

indeed, in this case, you can't use directly a wget command...

I am not sure to understand well this. What I understand :
- In location A, you use wget command to download a file from rapidshare by using the direct link built by rapidshare after signing
So you use to get this link a browser (captcha step) and rapidshare identified the authorized IP at this time. Badly, the built link is available only for this IP.

Wget works because you are in the same location (IP used by the browser = IP NAS = ISP WAN address).

If you use this link from another location (B), then you current IP is not the same and the download fails. (IP used by the browser (location B)<> IP NAS (location A))

Sorry, but I don't see an easy trick to solve this issue. Use a SSH channel with wget doesn't resolve it as it's always the NAS IP (ISP WAN address ) will be used to download the file.

But you can try to use the same trick which allows you to login into the admin GUI router from a remote access when only LAN access is allowed....
You need another running computer in location A with a VNC remote access. So from location B, you take control of this computer and with its browser you get the direct link.... (=>IP used by the browser = IP NAS)

Not very convenient... :dry

You can try the vpn solution...
If you get the rapidshare link from the browser (location B) by using WAN access via your VPN then rapishare should see only one IP :roll:

When i get the link in the location B the IP from location B is allready there

The only way i realize is if i can open a" web page" in my menu from lacie


for example in location b (remote) I open transmission page and I work from my nas, I need to work from my nas in a web page

But if you use FF and you know the addon firebug. It's easy to test it.
