2big network II not 2!

Do you know this type of device?

I bought one not reading precisely what it is. The factory label clearly shows "II". Before installing fvdw firmware on it I want to find out its hardware specs. . But the normal lacie reset procedure does not work here.

Do you know how I can reset it? I could also mount the drives to a linux PC if you know which files to touch for a reset.

In the webinterface it is mentioned as LaCie-2big. As far as I know version 2 is shown there as LaCie-2big2? Shall we consider it as a version 1 derivate?

The label is difficult to read (dark) but indeed it seems to mention II. Do you have a picture of the main board ?

What does the webinterface show as firmware version ?

OK so I bought another version 1 device. Next time I read more carefully....
Anyway, is there a way of resetting the password maybe by reinstalling an image with orginal lacie lacie firmware? Or modify something with the help of a linux PC?

Isnn't that the link you sent me on my last trials with 2big 1? I read it again carefully. To my understanding the starting point is to have acess through the webinterface and then hacking begins. But this is just what I am lacking.
