I updated my LaCie Network Space Vs1 from 12-0 to 12-1 using the firmware update menu method.
The update lasted:
60 seconds for step1
7:20 minutes for step 2
2 minutes for step 3
Works fine, thank you

I'm 40 minutes in step 2.... blue light is lit (not flashing)... I think something gone wrong... i'm updating from 10.1. what shall i do?

if the blue light is steady then it means no disk activity.
Assuming it did not switched the boot setting, the only thing you can do is reboot the nwsp1 and try again.
Typically this problem can occuur when you did not set up the partition structure in accordance with the installation guide.
For firmware upgrade partitions sda1 and sda2 are needed
