Successfully went from the older 5-1 fw to the intermediate fvdw-sl-10-1-nwsp1-19nov2011.
Then went for the latest fvdw-sl firmware version 12-0 using the firmware update menu.
Lots of improvements, very good job you did !

I just updated from 10.1 last night.. failed the first try - I rebooted the nas and tried again and it went fine. Just checking all the stuff out now but looks very nice.
Seems to be running more stable - it would require a reboot now and again (@ v10.1) when copying large files. I just moved a 20GB drive image backup and it is still running strong.
